Happy new year everyone, Im not new to this forum just havent been on for quite some time. Being a max pt holder for elk in wyo, was wondering if anybody had boots on the ground type of info on unit 62 they would be willing to share. Last year it took 10.5 pts to draw, I'd be wasting 1.5 pts, would like to know to know if it is worth burning the point and a half. Looking at rifle, self-guided, public land and I have no access to horses. I also looked at units 58 and 61-2, but the info I got for those two units, sounds like its not for a self-guided hunter. Because Im basically new to this site Im not expecting the world, but any info would be helpful in making my decision. Thanks Terry

Hunt the Forest, if they're there you should be fine. Bio told me it was hit/miss.
