Wy Elk 2014

I hunted about 8 days and saw quite a few elk the only thing that I did not like was the wind. I hunted the same area with my friend last year and the same conditions. I live in an area in Idaho with a lot of wind but I refer to Medicine Bow Wyoming as "Professional" wind. My friend found a nice dead head and we saw some decent mule deer bucks as well. I am looking forward to the draws already for 2015 but it sounds like AZ is going to screw those of us with max points for deer. I am also going to take in the shorts on elk down there. I hope he got a permit for that "dead head" he found because it's illegal to have anything but sheds unless you contact G&F to get a permit. It's weird because the wind is bad down there and on up toward Casper, but is not bad at all most of the time up where we hunt east of Worland.
