Wish I Would Have Seen This Live Friday Tunes

My good friend was friends with the lead guitarist for A Flock Of Seagulls. We saw them at the Shark Club in / around 1990. Don't know what to say other than, I own it. Was good music. 😎

One of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made was giving up tickets to see Petty to attend a freaking wedding. Didn’t even like the people who got married...

Here is the dancin' fool. at 27 minutes, you will have to restart Youtube 3 times. But it's worth it.

Looking at these posts, I can make a few assumptions about our ages; suffice to say, we all remember rotary phones.

Not sure what a ten year-old was doing with an album with so many sinister adult-level undertones, but I listened to this album many times a day. Always wanted to see him live, but that was a bit out of reach for a young kid from my part of the world. I suspect at age 82, a live performance today would be a bit different than a 1970's performance.

the list is endless of bands or singers i would have enjoyed seeing live, but heres a few bands from back in the day , while i was in elementary school, they were in there prime, and i didn't start listing to them till i was much older

BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS

STEELY DAN

like Randys post about an album and early years in life, my parents gave me this album when i was in 6th or 7th grade , i listend to it all the time , it had some very adult themes in it , it made me feel like i was getting away with something when i was a kid. didnt figure out till i was older that BELUSHI and AKROYD traveled the US and performed live at that time with the band from the movie, and made several live albums, seeing these dudes live would have been a riot, here is one of the adult songs from the album, BELUSHI could sing, enjoy, if you like blues i would suggest picking up this album, i just found it again on cd , its a great listen

THE BLUES BROTHERS

First off I would like to say Tradewind has excellent taste in music ( post number 4 ) and I see Bighornram also appreciates good music ( liked number 4 )

I did get to see the eagles, way back when Randy was cute, Elvis, Sinatra ( with sammy and Dean ) and others

but I missed seeing Liza Minnelli at the Meadowlands. have watched her a few times since ( liza minnelli best performance of N.Y. N Y.-----and I agree, loved it)

Per this thread---------Wish I would have seen it live!

p.s. We went to an outdoor stadium in Los Angeles, called the Greek Theatre YEARS ao, have no idea if it is sill there. Saw Harry Belafonte --very good show----I know, I know--who the hell is Harry Belfonte ?

Bucket list bands to cross off the live list:
What's left of the Eagles

Stones

Live acts I really wish I'd caught:
Outlaws
Allman Bros.
Marshall Tucker Band
Atlanta Rhythm Section
Little Feat
Fleetwood Mac w/ Peter Green
Gary Moore
Crosby Stills Nash & Young
Jimi Hendrix
