Whats on the menu for the holidays?

Instead of the usual Christmas lasagna (everything from scratch, except the cheese), my wife and her mother are making homemade gnocchi w/ fontina (Val d'Aosta, none of the Wisconsin crap) cream sauce. While I love Christmas lasagna, homemade gnocchi knocks it out of the park - plus, its been a couple years since theyve made it.

We had Oysters Bienville last night (Anniversary), so will save rest of seafood for New Year's.

Tomahawk Ribeyes, fettuccini al fredo, Caesar salad, potato rolls. Maybe throw a vegetable in for keto/carb relief.

Thanksgiving pretty much did us in for sweets with pumpkin and pecan pies, and one of our neighbors made us a rum cake, so we're good on sweets.

Prime rib, au gratin potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet patatoe casserole and an apple pie for dessert. Wife is working so I’ve been the one in the kitchen this year. Patatoes turned out good, pie looks alright but really smells good. Should be easy work tomorrow. 9F2E6CD2-3C1C-4FF2-969A-2D61A8CCB3A9.jpeg1FB16470-DFC3-4D61-971D-06FC4521CB91.jpeg
