Hey guys...I'm getting ready to invest some money in either a spotting scope or range finder. I have fairly nice binoculars, rifle/scope but I would like to either get a spotting scope or range finder. I really only have the money for one and am wondering which would be better. I am leaning one way but am looking for other opinions. Thanks.

gup,
i would say the spotter is more important than the range finder.
while the range finder will give you the distance to the target, it wont give you a good look at it.

I think the answer depends on how particular you are about the size of the antlers on the animals you shoot. Me, I am not that picky, so although I have both a rangefinder and a spotting scope, I rarely take the spotter with me while hunting, but always the rangefinder.
