Montana ASR for Long Range Hunting?

Good Morning,
I bought a Montana Rifle Company Model 1999 ASR .300 WSM a few years ago. And I have never mounted a scope on it or even shot it. I was wondering if anyone has or had one or knows anyone that has or had one.I am wondering if the ASR is a good option for taking longer range shots or not (400 yards +)? Thank you!!

You'll have to go to the range and see how it shoots. Sight in at 100 or 200, shoot 400 then 600 and see what it can do. If it shoots ~1 moa at 600 it'll be just fine for anything under that.
