Have 2 filled out with bows on them and already paid for the suppressors so curious what people think the wait time is going to be once they open it up on January 2nd?

Google search AI says it is still going to be fast, maybe a week or two.

I'm hoping a month but that is probably overly optimistic. I could swear I read somewhere that there was 1 million pending applications but that just seems impossible and I can't find that anywhere again.

Just curious what everyone else thinks.

Thanks, Nathan

I haven't heard from anyone that seemed to have a data informed opinion on it?

They've been processing eforms so fast for the past year i wouldn't be surprised if they get through the backlog without too much drama. If there are lawsuits filed in regards to the NFA being a tax but $0 not being actually tax, who knows what happens?

Hopefully all is smooth and the suppressor market grows.

I bet they’ll be backed up for a while. I heard they’re not just doing away with the stamp but revamping a lot of the system. I’m going to wait for it to cool down then finally do a trust for my suppressors- for free. 🙂
That's my plan.
I only have two, a .22 and a .30. That's all I need right now. But they're set up as individual.

Going to file a trust to add my wife and brother in case something happens to me and my wife won't have to do the one-time survivorship transfer mess.

Then get another one or two .22 cans and call it good.

That's my plan as well! Been needing to set up a trust anyway.
