People like to complain about tag fees and costs to do some of these hunts. My single biggest expense every year is fuel! My fall usually average around 18k total miles, crazy thing is its 1000 miles a day followed by week or two of truck parked at a camp site. Many of these miles are pulling a enclosed hunt camp trailer. Quick math: (miles÷mpg x $diesel)) 18000÷15 x $3.5=$4200 this is only good thing about not drawing a tag in new mexico this fall...lol. need prices to drop and soon were 2 months out of seasons getting started!
