I'm sure we all wish this process was smoother but to take time out of your day to be a prick to a front line worker is insane...

I'll set this story right.

I did not go into the CPW office to talk about the draw, I have a friend whom is one of the biologists and different buddy whom was looking for native wildflower seeds and this was good excuse to see my buddy.

If you think I am POS or bully your entitled to your opinion. The conversation with the lady was about 15 seconds in total.

Let me give you a little history on me before you continue bullying. I did take the post down because I didn't want it to take away from the excitement of the draw.

I am Life Member of RMEF, RMBS, NRA and member of about every pro sportsmen group in CO. I have been on a CPW focus group and am a STRONG supporter that sends emails and places calls and meets in person with some our politicians whom don't reflect the best interests of sportsman activities in CO. I was part of the successful campaign on Ballot Issue 127 and was recently approached to be submitted as a candidate to replace one of the 13 CPW commissioners. Every year, I spend $1000's of dollars supporting these organizations, assisting and mentoring hunters.

If you think for one minute I don't have sportsman's best interest in CO or your state, you are completely mistaken.

Now should I have responded the way I did - probably not. As I know the person whom is around the front desk of CPW office has no ability to change anything. Evidently I worded this extremely short conversation that I had with this individual badly in writing earlier. I apologize and hope everyone has a great upcoming season.

Oh the glory of the internet. As I say to colleagues all of the time - don't think too much about things that are emailed (or in this case, written in quick form on a forum) as they likely lack context and the full story. If/when in doubt - have a conversation. Appreciate the context, @tormenter. Appreciate what it sounds like you do for our causes in CO as well. Now - let's get back to our very productive days....
