US and Israel attack Iran

Not sure exactly what you mean but I think maybe partially because all things convert to cash (wealth and power), but not just that. Americans in general can be viewed as living in an ivory tower passing judgement on others, and often times dropping bombs to get change, while we live in a bubble. It has been 150 years since this land actually felt a war and had to worry about the "enemy" rolling in or dropping bombs in the middle of night, and that was us fighting ourselves. It skews our collective perspective and drives how we are perceived around the world. It is hard to say that it isn't justified. Honestly, the only way to make Americans feel pain in this instance is to try to spike the price of oil. In any other way, today and the next and the next will just be normal days for us.

That makes sense. Who lived in the ivory tower prior to us?

Kings and Emperors I guess. LOL. Roman Empire lasted 500-800years and left a lasting impression on stuff until it bit off a little more than it could chew. The Spanish and British are more recent. We are at 250. Maybe nothing lasts forever and disorder is the natural state in political systems? Every time we try to "fix" something we just break something else. I think of it like an ant colony that collapses when the queen dies. We just killed the Iran "queen" and think it will resort in some sort of stability? Seems like wishful thinking. At this point I still feel we are more likely to destroy ourselves than have someone else do it.

By very good fortune, we are the only super power, who has wide oceans surrounding three sides of the country. The other side is bordered by a friendly country. It more or less makes a land invasion threat disappear.

Europe by contrast has fought over boundaries throughout recorded history.

Now, think about what causes that...as uncomfortable as it is.
The answer to this is simple. A warped religion based on the destruction of Israel and western society. Just like rabies there’s no cure for those inflicted with this ideology. A quick painless end so they don’t pass on their disease is best for all.

I’m surprised to see Buzz on here and not in mourning for the next 40 days.

So, you honestly believe that every Iranian has a warped religious belief and ideology?

How much better are we? What makes our warped religious beliefs any better? I would contend it's not one bit better.

I've never had a Muslim, Hindu, etc. come to my front door trying to sell me their religion. Can't say that about the Christians...they try to shove their ideology/religion down my throat all the time...and come to my door to do it. They try to pass required school prayer, required Commandments on my Government buildings, etc. etc. etc.

I don't cotton to that and find it very offensive. I respect their religious freedom, but I don't go to their front door to try to sway them on my beliefs. I wish I was afforded that same respect back, keep your crap to yourself. These are the actions that create resentment.

When you take it up the maximum notch of killing others to comply with YOUR way of thinking, I can tell you that will never work. History has proven that...over and over and over again. You're asking people to give up their belief system because you're more righteous than they are.

If you believe that will ever create anything but hatred, then you have your head in the sand. Good luck with that.

Man, I must be getting old. Some of us are hanging our hats on the "media" showing us Iranians celebrating in the streets because the latest ayatollah was pulverized, and believing this means we are justified. Weren't these the same Iranians celebrating in the streets on 9/11 when the twin towers fell? I hope this isn't my first symptom of Alzheimer's.

Good thing we destroyed Islam in Kuwait. Then we invaded Iraq to mop up. Next, Afghanistan to secure those gains for 20 years. With so much winning, how is it possible that Islam may become the most practiced religion in the world in coming decades?

I just returned from Costa Rica. They don’t even have a standing army. They elect to spend heavily on education instead. What a concept.
We have an agreement to defend them in a confrontation. But I do agree with you. Good old fashioned education. Not the current style, but it never stopped wars in the past. As long as someone wants what another person has wars will never end. Been happening since day one

Reminiscent of those celebrations in the streets of Pyongyang.

How and why does Isreal have so much sway on America???
The conspiracy theory bros would say good ole Jeff Epstein. It’s probably a lot of other things.

This shit is all just crazy to me you know Dick Cheney would be respecting Trump’s game right now. You bomb the terrorists and also bomb the potential terrorists.
