This morning we are embarking on the "five-year-old" trip through Yellowstone NP with our granddaughter, who awoke with a similar smile. She and I will work diligently to earn our Junior Ranger Badges through a very fun and educational program sponsored by the Park.

It is truly one of life's joys to awaken to such a smile.

Sure miss the days in SE Idaho where we would pack the truck to make the loop through *the park* and be back home that night.

That is doable, but we plan to camp at Pebble Creek at the east end of Lamar River valley. You gotta have smores over the campfire or it''s not a real "five-year-old" trip.
