Just got back in the house from gathering some bait.. I went with my second oldest son. He's 30yo.. We gathered up some shiners and I got soaked... We both laughed so hard we had gut aches..
Tonight we'll go use it (the bait) on some catfish poles. It's been our tradition to go to one hole on the local river on or near the 4th of July for many years. We always do pretty well but the main thing is that we are enjoying our time together in this creation..
This has caused me to reflect on what is important and what it is that I value. We each are only given so many days on this green sphere. How are you using them??.. Today I am fishing.. May your days be blessed to do something of value...
If people concentrated on the really important things in life there would be a shortage of fishing poles. Doug Larsen...
