    Saw you’ve hunted some steep units in Colorado…. Ever been in 64 or 65? If so, I’m headed there for 2nd rifle for a cow tag. Any tips would be appreciated!

    I hunted elk in 65 for one season about 3 years ago. Was still figuring it out then I think. But we got into fresh sign (probably bumped a few out of thier beds but didn’t seen them because we didn’t know to go slower and look with glass more). That was up off the top of owl creek pass towards chimney rock. that was only maybe a mile off the road on an afternoon hunt.
