Getting started with bears
That’s helpful. I had been thinking to hunt them in the front range but went back on that since although they were eating berries last year that’s not gonna be the norm. I am going for a more remote location now for that exact reason. Still there’s probably always the possibility of them...- Deckerp

I finished my February of daily morning cold plunges. Definitely enjoyed it and will continue to do them (though not necessarily ever single morning) So far mine is just a plastic trough cooled by the nighttime temps but I was thinking to build it into an insulated box/lid and buy a chiller...- Deckerp

Greatest Shot Ever--A Thread--Post Your's
Red Ryder BB gun, chipmunk at 40-50yards dead on impact. Felt pretty bad about that one at the time being just a little kid. I used to mostly just run around shooting pine cones and such and didn’t really think I would hit it. -
Our first ever elk hunt!
Congrats! Pretty excellent to fill two tags on your first elk hunt! (obviously it worked out fine, but maybe more for others getting into this and reading it - I think taking a shot at what might be 500 yards without a good known range is a bad idea - just my opinion that there’s too much... -
