Terry wilderness elk

Anyone ever hunted elk in there or seen any in there? A buddy and I have combo tags, we’re going in there to deer hunt but I’ve been told the elk run around in there every great once in awhile. Can care to confirm this?

Then why did you ask if you already know? Wait…I will answer that for you….you don’t know for sure. OnX only gets you so far and in fact does not reveal all areas secrets. Specifically boots on the ground stuff!

Deer numbers are down. Hunter numbers are up. Elk numbers are very low fwp is trying to keep them out of the area. We are putting a pounding on our wildlife enjoy it while it’s still here.
