Greenhorn, didn't realize you and your wife were so young.

what a cutie that little girl is. you are going to have your hands full in a few years. good looking boy also. nice pics.

I like 'em all. Makes me feel better about the future of hunting.

Sure adds a more meaningful reason to head out to the hills each day. Besides that, they are just glad to be tagging along, regardless of what you shoot/don't shoot, which makes them such great hunting companions.

My boy last weekend. Kurt I have a feeling our boys may be slaying some critters together some day being so close in age. You should have seen his grin when i told him when I shoot a turkey that he should keep putting BB's in it's head until it stops flopping.

Awesome pics of everyones kids. I love 'em all. I enjoyed going back through all of my pics of Kawika when he was growing up. He has been on a bunch of hunts with us already and has held a few dead critters in his 6 years.

Let me set this up for you. My wife Sarah had drawn an awesome tag when Kawika was 15 months old. My mom was going to come up and baby sit for us while we hunted. To make a long story short she never came up and we took a 15 month old around with us hunting. Like a dummy I had Sarah pass on a handful of elk, which now I wish she had taken. This particular hunt was about a mile hike into a burn I like to hunt and the elk were going crazy still at about 8:30. (Earliest I could talk my wife into bringing the boy out). I had worked a bunch of elk for almost an hour until this 6X5 came into 50 yards (I can't believe the boy held out that long but he was a trooper). An easy shot with a rifle and we could have had that whole thing on video. Kawika was babbling the whole time but the elk didn't seem to mind. Sorry about the video it's a crappy recording. It's mostly audio of how hard it was hunting with a 15 month old. I wouldn't change it in a million years.

Bugler:

That is soooooooo cool. Man. Thanks for sharing.

Great pics.

Congrats to wife, and you.

I agree, WAY cool. Upgraded the Red Ryder today and had an outdated case of yogurt in the garage. Took some video of my son plugging the thing, and making attempts with his bow.. having a crap day with arrows, but he's okay with the BBgun. It's in his blood I think. Comic relief thanks to his sister.Killer in Training
