Some yo-yo’s stepped over that line around here this weekend, there was an SUV out on the east side of Winnebago (4-5” in some spots). That’s crazy.

Man, that can be a fine line. The older I get (usually) the more clear it becomes. My wife would probably disagree, though.

I saw a Facebook reel on Thursday or Friday last week from a recovery guy marking a spot where a SxS went through but he didn’t have time to get it. I think he said he’d had 27 calls from around Wisco to recover atvs and SxSs.

Where’s the starlink receiver and the sat dish? I can’t believe you don’t have the colored LED lights on the outside, maybe it’s just to light out.

Also, this is a good learning opportUnity to never trust the ice. When I went on Monday last week there was a good 7-8” of ice at one spot and the other spot only had 3-4”. They were a matter of a couple hundred yards apart with one being exposed to the wind and the other being in a secluded bay. Both were 6’ feet deep.

Agreed. Keeping an eye on a body of water right when it starts to lock up is interesting, especially big bodies. Wind holes, goose holes, current etc all lead to varied ice thickness.

Yup and bago will be a nightmare for some time this year. The timing of the snowfalls and the big winds we got over the last few weeks have been wrecking complete havoc. Saturday out there we were walking out and found open water cracks in 4 spots. The fact that people are driving anything out there just speaks to the level of stupidity people have

I actually don’t even fish in this shack. It’s at my pike spot so all the windows let me see the tip ups. Some day I’ll have a second shack that I can fish in for walleye. That one will have the tv setup for the underwater cameras and what not
