T Bone's SD bird

Been out 3 times for turkeys so far. The first day was the opener in an archery only area. Called 3 toms in, but no shot.

2nd time was with shotgun and the two oldest sons came with. I figured that calling in birds with two fidgety boys would be near impossible...I was dead wrong. Called in a bachelor group of 4 toms to 20 yards...and missed as they were running broadside. Didn't know that was possible with a shotgun.

3rd time was the charm. Called in a bachelor group of 8 to 15 yards and had to be real picky on the shot I took so I didn't tip over a pile of them. Decent mature bird.

I have 3 more tags, might try once more.
