Definitely one of my favorite birds since I was a kid. Seems like I've seen more than usual this year.

Getting too old for this. One more pickup load to go. All by myself. mtmuley

I sure don't miss those days.

That pickup is probably saying the same thing!

Nope. That is one Hell of a truck. Not made like that anymore. mtmuley

Used to do around 150 acres of it as my side gig. I should've had my head examined. Sure did enjoy it when I was younger. Kids would like me to come out of retirement. I'd rather take them fishing. Lol

[Redmt]

It was a great day when the kids moved from hay to gasoline. We'd load an entire block on a flatbed 1 ton truck and 2 axle trailer.

Back when you were 13, I was 16 pitching bales for extra money. Usually 90 degrees with awful humidity, biting flies, itchy, scratchy. Drank Miller High Life at the end of the day. Thought you might appreciate that @mtmuley

Yep. Spot on. My buds Grandmother brought us salt pills and lots of water. My buds Uncle that had the ranch went to round bales after we were gone. He couldn't find help that could stack hay much less want to. I miss it. Great memories and her breakfasts were off the charts. mtmuley

The hay barn truly was good for a roll-around now and again too.

Visited St. Augustine,

I used to go to St Augustine fairly regularly, unfortunately it's been several years now. If you had shrimp at O'Steen's while you were there, I'm really going to be jealous.

Headed into the backcountry on knapweed patrol.

[Sixmile]

Out riding cows and lucked into this in belly deep grass.

[Threedognight]

Beargrass is in full bloom.

A buddy sent me a shot of the moon taken with his new camera attachment on his telescope.
