you guys are killing me. i was supposed to be spending today packing out of the san juans after a long high altitude weekend. yet this lingering fatigue and cough from covid derailed those plans. tight schedule this summer, who knows if we'll be able to still get out. oh well, sometimes there are just lost seasons.

so, i guess, as usual, here's another picture of my dog. she occasionally naps like this.

My son and I went to set up more for the upcoming shooting match and took two of my grandkids with us. They were more interested in throwing rocks and finding bones. I tried unsuccessfully to convince them these were moose sheds. They were pretty happy with the cow skull.

Na, never like carp fishing, large & small mouth bass, cats, brim, walleye use to get some ell.

They're not my main cup of tea either. But there's a neat phenomenon in the canal where they eat ripe, fallen mulberries off the surface of the water in areas where the trees are nearby (particularly just NW of Georgetown). One can make a little purple ball as a dry "fly" and go catch 'em from the surface. Worth trying once for anyone with fly tackle.
