Sunday Pic of the Day

Caught 1 so far today on the river. Tied up to a mud bank, hotter than hell. I made a brain fart and told my son to take his life jacket off. Got a pretty good chastising from the boat in the background, Immediately after this pic the wardens (know both of them, just small community stuff) lit me up. Don’t blame them. Everything else in order so the chastising was enough. It’s in for good now.

Next year tell them to bring you a window sticker for your truck and you can make the thread. 🤣 I love the shirt but window sticker is where I draw the line.
That’s my wife’s family from Minnesota. They bring us down those shirts every year. 🤣

A week in the Eagle cap Wilderness, 8 more miles and 3000 feet to gain. Hiking away from a place called Reds Horse Ranch. It was a private section that became surrounded by wilderness area.

If you listen real close, you can still hear WWII…

My grandpa was a pilot on one of those bad boys. I’m named after his co-pilot. They had these planes at the Lewistown airport for a 4th of July celebration back in the late 90’s and they were taking people up for rides. We asked grandpa if he wanted to go up with his grandsons….his reply….$&@# no!!!😂🇺🇸

These used to be common up in the Eagle Cap before WWII. From what gramps told me, they always stopped to look back. Might explain why you don't see these any more!
