Yah..... Really. I'm still wondering WTF.

I looked to buy a vehicle once a few months back on Craigslist and they told me to send them money on PayPal and they would ship the car to me and if I didn't like it I could cancel the PayPAl deal and send the vehicle back.

They typed the same way.....

"i will want you to please do get back to me "
"via PayPal which i believe will credit into your account in just some minutes,."
"But i will you to please try your best to get back to me "

Now, grant it I don't type well but........

I went back and forth with them about not sending money (knowng it was a scam. I offered them $1,000 more then they were asking and told them I'd fly out to whatever town or city the lived in and pick it up first thing in the morning.

Never heard back.

Fetching Scammers. Almost as bad as poachers.

Although, the people selling stuff on Craigslist with "No Spam Replys or Schemes" in their product descriptions are quite entertaining.

As if, somehow, people who are looking to commit a crime would be respectful and not try and scam somebody if they were previously requested not to scam them...

In all seriousness, no chit! I have been looking for a snowmobile trailer. I have wasted more damn gas driving back and forth across the valley only to find that I wouldn't be able to pull it out of a yard. One guy had built his fence in his back yard only to notice he wouldn't be able to get it out and wondered if I had some *buds* to tip it up sideways to get it theough his gate? Go figure.
