Sounds like a tough period you guys are going through. Nice to hear the positive attitude and all the best for the future for your wife.
Looks like you did that tag justice and certainly gave it all it was worth. A fine buck to punch it out on and i enjoyed seeing all the bucks on the hoof in your pictures. Seems to be a common theme with many deer species in that the big old males are either living in relative security in somebodies backyard or way back in country as isolated as they can find.

Mucho congrats on the hunt! Sounds like one whale of a trip and a beauty of a buck too. Lookse like those fires really helped that area.
