Time for # 5.

(if you guys get sick and tired of these posts just let me know and I'll stop)

Another video post! I think video posts are something we don't see enough of on the boards - I love 'em.

Here's the link to the new one:

As usual, if you know the answer your guess doesn't count.

And try to throw in a net and gross score with this one if you can.

Never measured a pronghorn, but have been following these a little.

I'll guess 87.

Base - 6 5/8
C1 - 7 3/8
C2 - 3 6/8
C3 - 2 2/8
Prong - 6 5/8
Length 15 4/8

Total - 42 1/8 X 2 = 84 2/8 Gross

Very symmetrical, so few deducts, net = 83 6/8

Since pronghorn don't get a spread credit, don't give any net scores that are odd numbers. It is impossible under the B&C score system. Lot's of guys on MM (and people submitting photos to a hunting magazine I occasionally read) love to give official net pronghorn scores with odd numbers. Makes me laugh. Either the B&C scoring guys adding the scores failed fractions in the third grade, or someone is stretching the truth.

I'm betting that it's close to 88 so I'm thinking 87 5/8. Beautiful diggers!!;) I bet they are close to 7" His bases are way skinny compared to the other circ. measurements. Don't laugh at my high number Fin I really haven't started smoking pot.

85 is my guess. It has nice diggeres and Miller likes it's turd cutters

Mr. Fin is a wise ol' man

Vegas and I hate pushes so vegas gives me a 1/2 point and I give goats an odd 1/8.

I did not know that. Proves ignorance.

Got a better one for you. A buddy had an official P&Y measurer give him a net score for his mountain goat that was an odd eighth! When he suggested that it might be incorrect, the guy got pissy and told him that re-measuring it might cost him some inches. :rolleyes:

I'll check out this loper in a bit...

Length - 15 6/8"
Prong - 6 2/8"
D1 - 6 4/8"
D2 - 7 2/8"
D3 - 4"
D4 - 3"
Gross - 85 4/8"
Net - 85"

left side

Base 6
1st 7
2nd 3 6/8
3rd 3
prng 6
lngth 16

totl 41 6/8
x2
totl 83 2/8

+ 2" colorado handicap
total 85 2/8

Length= 16 5/8"
Prong = 6 4/8"
Base = 6 3/8"
C1 = 7"
C2 = 3 5/8"
C3 = 2 7/8"

Gross 86"
Net 85 5/8", he looks very symetrical, I couldn't pinpoint and deducts but I would guess there has to be some...

I would also assume I am way off again...

Wow great buck.

Length 16 5/8
D1 - 6 4/8
D2 - 7 1/8
D3 - 4 1/8
D4 - 2 6/8
Prong - 6 5/8

Total - 43 6/8 X 2 = 87 4/8 Gross

Very symmetrical, so few deducts, net = 86 6/8

lenght 16 4/8
d's 6 5/8
7 2/8
3 6/8
2 6/8
prong 6 4/8
43x2=86
so with that score, I would just 86 him!!! Very nice lope!!
