I like the CLAW sling myself. It "stays put" on your shoulder so essentially it is hands free glassing also!

Sewn unless you have a couple of old rifles with inletted sling attachments. In that case get both!

I use one from Bronwnells (http://www.brownells.com/shooting-a...s/slings/quick-set-latigo-sling-prod1180.aspx). I like it but it looks like the Montana might be more reliable. I had the brass screw/bolt thing come out last fall and had to patch it up till I had time to fix it proper. If the Montana stays together better that would be a plus.

I really wish I could take claim to the rifle but it is part of the product sales photo. I do have an affinity for a classic vintage stalking or express rifle.

Not to derail this topic, but can does someone know the name brand that Big Fin uses that attaches to his pack. The gun ends up under his arm and he is "hands free". Thanks.
