Relax, Everything is Going to be Okay!

Much of that is because so many cannot pay for care in this country.
If you cannot afford care, you still get it, medical providers literally CAN'T turn you away. That's why our ER's are overflowing. Because you can get healthcare. Homeless people without a penny still receive care every day. Where is this coming from?

I'd argue, stop giving people care who don't need it. I get "free" checkups but even my doc recommended I stop coming until I turn 45 or have symptoms. Spend 30 sec chatting with any big city first responder and you'll get an entirely different side as to why everything for us who can actually afford to pay, costs so damn much.

Do some of you guys who believe one party has your best interest over the other, still believe in the tooth fairy and Santa Claus? Curious.
I believe the vast majority of elected officials think they're doing what is best for "the people," and the greed associated with any of their actions is no greater than the greed of an insurance agent, car salesman, real estate agent, or banker. Greed is a human condition that is, evolutionarily engineered into the deepest core of our being; it is not relegated to politicians.

Both parties have really good points from a societal standpoint. I wish both parties could drop the BS, but when you have these inflammatory characters that demand complete allegiance, then we can't break out of this cycle of it being more important to hate the other team than it is to govern.

I come back to this thread occasionally and it helps me realize how truly idiotic some of this forum is. Then I get sucked in for a bit and regret it. Tribal lunacy! I bid you all a socialistic day of free stuff including your Healthcare.
Thank-you and thank the socialistic Uncle Sam, who has my day of health care covered by Medicare, Tricare For Life, and Veterans Affairs socialistic program coverages.
If you consider it "free stuff", then obviously you have never served your nation in the military ... let alone experienced the stress of service in a combat zone.

You deserve it dude you served the country good for you and thank you very much.
I dont deserve free stuff because I chose not to serve the country in the military. Get it?

Warrants a response to respectfully remind you that Uncle Sam has determined that you "deserve" free socialistic Medicare as determined by your representative democracy and based on your blessed eligibility by being so lucky as to have been born in the USA or otherwise established your citizenship. Enjoy your day with that realization.

The reason(s) for Democrats sweeping recent elections is much broader than just the shutdown. The shutdown is seen as another reflexion of the Republican political arrogance and lockstep march toward knee-bending, bootlicking loyalty to the emperor.
The current economic conditions and decisions regarding beef imports are even turning heads of heretofore staunchly conservative cattle producers in my Montana. Our Congressional delegation is in hot water and getting hotter, as there does not seem to be an ounce of historical Montana political integrity among them.
Oh, how I wish for the sane, pragmatic, economically successful Republican party of my father and grandfather.
JFK would be considered a far right conservative in today's Democrat party. A communist killed him in 1963 when I was 4 months old, so I don't have fond memories of him. Things have changed over the years, but in some ways, they really haven't changed at all.

GW Bush would be considered a liberal snowflake in today's Republican party. What's your point?

But hey, obesity drugs will now be cheaper. Metaphorically, putting a $7 band aid on the problem.
don’t worry buddy, it’s going to be fine. In other good news, Kimberly-Clark will be buying Kenvue (maker of Tylenol) for $48.7B.

And that’s super cheap after RFK and the Orange Guy proved that I like reloading as much as I do because my mom took too much “Ah-see-da-Epstein Files Still Haven’t Been Released” when she was preggers.
