Found this on MT Cadastrol, Marked as private lands on the ground, appears to be private owner on MT cadastrol,

So is something that looks like this huntable?
What does it mean when it says what follows here?

Conservation Easements
Grantee:Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Date:12/31/2003
Acres:647 Book/Page:Book XXX page XXXX

It looks like a conservation easement that the RMEF purchased. It likely just protects the property, which is still privately owned, from development. It's unlikely that there is public access granted in the CE.

These conservation easements are donated to RMEF. RMEF is granted the development rights and other rights that could be adverse to wildlife and habitat. As grantee of those rights, RMEF must hold them in perpetuity and not allow those rights to be used.

As Oak said, almost never does the landowner grant access rights, rather they retain the access rights so they have say over who is allowed access to their land.

A very valuable tool in protecting critical wildlife habitat.
