How much will a pronghorn shrink in a day, if you set in on the mantle of a hot fireplace? Let's say it starts at about 86" B&C. What should it score after a day of ULTRA-drying?

I don't know what sitting on a fireplace mantle will do but I know a day in the pool will shrink it pretty good

There's a cold front moved into Montana right now - so I have my little office space-heater running hot HOT. Will have to move them to the fireplace after I get home tonight. Apparently I'm supposed to have them officially measured tomorrow AM... I might wait until Sunday afternoon or maybe next week sometime just to make sure they have completed the ULTRA dry process.

Most the dudes in my office have wanted some "alone time" with this set of pronghorn horns.. but due to my space-heater.. they are way too hot to handle. Just a few seconds and the hands start to sizzle. Note the reddish glow to the horns... holding for this photo was about like walking on hot coals.

Any gross score under 87", and I am gonna accuse you of putting it in the oven during the night.
I know the symmetry will mess it up, so the "net" will be disappointing.
Last time I measured it, the score had dropped two inches from when I measured the day after I shot it. Each of the circumference measurements had shrunk 1/8 to 1/4 inch, which is not good when there are 8 total circumference measurements.
What do I owe you? Do you take Monopoly money? That is all I have left after wife's Vegas trip.

Big Fin reminded me of the time my niece and nephew were visiting from Florida, We were out Coho fishing.Along came my guide friend. "How's it going he says" Well we got here about one hour ago and we got a couple. I got my limit already he says (limit is 3 ) My nephew Roy says "I haven't had a bite" Jump in my boat Jerry says. So off they go. By the time they returned we had a 1/2 dozen or so and Roy caught his 3. That night at supper Roy pulls out Jerry's business card and says we need to call him. So i give jerry some S#&T about trying to hustle my nephew. he say s "hey" i told him if he ever comes back and your busy I'll take him fishing. So now he says why don't y'all join me tomorrow and fish out of my boat. I said "well" how much is a guided trip? Oh, I would'nt charge you. I know you better not but I insist on paying you for roy and Lisa. He hesitates then says well i get $75.00 a head but I won't charge them. The next morning after pulling out 2 $100. monopoly bills out of the game i say " Jerry you got change all I have it hundreds" As he's reaching for change he says but I don't want to charge you but out comes a $50.00 so I quickly grab the $50. and give him the play money. Quite an exchange of words until I gave him back the $50. Had a fun trip for sure.humphump

Ultra drying didn't take under the B&C all time status. While the buck was being scored yesterday AM, (it went 85+ net by the way) there was a beauty of a muley being taped taken within sight of town.. by a girl. 192+ The hunter is the one on the left.
