Excellent smoke ring!! How did you do them?

SPG, pellet grill on low and high smoke for 3 hours then turned up to 250. Stalled at 180 so I wrapped in butcher paper, upped temp to 300 until I hit 200 internal and probed like butter. Rested a short half hour because I was hungry!

I didn't get the good pic on the skewers but we had chicken, elk and duck kabobs. The two youngest snagged all the duck before I could get any.

The garden is in full production mode.
Burger with lettuce and onion from the garden as well as broiled zucchini and salad with spinach out of the back yard.
I was never a big fan of summer, it's flat out hot at my job, but growing veggies and fruit in the back yard helps make it bearable.

Tried some smoked onions courtesy of @shannerdrake providing the idea. 4 hours and still had some crunch in the center but not bad. Kinder's buttery garlic and herb seasoning. Kroger Dr. K seasoned ribs that I picked up on sale. Strange taste, would not recommend. Au gratin taters to round out the plate. Yeah, I know. Fancy plate. Needed the room!
