Got the wife and mine credit cards $7k in a couple days all on door dash, hair extensions and knee high boots. Half of which somehow got delivered to our house today. Do these people get caught? Or do businesses adjust for such things and just pass it on to those of us who arent complete shitbags?

Except of course, there isn’t any loan application.

Or could it be that someone has applied in my name?? That thought is a bit unnerving as I had some goober applying for unemployment benefits in my name from my own company.

New one to me this week.

Checked in to a hotel. An hour or so after checking in got a call on the room phone. Guy said he was the night manager and the person checking me in had forgot to add my payment info for incidentals. Apologized for the inconvenience and said a 30% discount would be placed on my rewards account. He then asked for the card number the room was booked with. I immediately knew something was up and told him I’d complete the issue at the front desk.

Called the person at the front desk who had checked me in and asked if they had called my room for more info. Nope. Must be a scam.

Be careful out there and do not give personal info on unexpected calls. If you aren’t sure, hang up and call an official number to confirm.

Got this a few weeks ago and again today. Same exact text but with the date change. These guys won’t know your account number and will ask you for it.
