Anyone heard of any recent wolf activity in Paradise Valley/ Tom Miner Basin?

Nope. I've been out four days in the last eleven and I have yet to see a track or hear a howl. But, I have not been hunting in the Paradise Valley. Maybe I should.

I hunted most of the weekends in Nov. looking for wolves and cut one single track. I was told by the wolf hate crew I was blind or a lousy hunter.
You must be as lousy as I am. Don't you know there's one behind every tree.

They're there. Never got a shot on one but saw them while hunting elk. One was carrying what looked like an elk leg.

I'm surprised it wasn't carrying the elk whole, since the wolves are 250+ lbs...

was just north of there today. No sightings by me, but there is a lot of country there.
am now in Kalispell and gonna try up here for a couple of days.
I had fits trying to get away from people while in the Bozeman/ Livingston area this past week. I think the whole population decided to get out and enjoy the weather outdoors.
maybe nextime will be better.
