Numbers were down in our unit and we had our two month old son along so we had our work cut out for us this year trying to fill our MT tags. A couple hours into our hunt I spotted a herd a mile below the ridge we were on, a quick jog brought me into range and we had a buck down.

Within an hour we were back on a herd and my wife made a beautiful 250 yard shot and anchored this guy. He is a very exceptional buck for the area we hunt, with an extra cutter on the back.

It was either bring him with or my wife couldn't go. We were really lucky to get a couple down so early, it was pretty rough with one of us anchored to the truck at all times but it worked out well.

congrats on the bucks. congrats on the family hunt. one question - where's the camo for the yung'un?;)
