NRA On The Hot Seat - Exposed or Attacked?

Red herring question, but I will respond. No ... and you are well aware that is not the military firearm configuration to which I alluded. (BTW, as a hunter/firearms owner for well over five decades and a US Army guy for three decades. Having pulled the trigger on everything from an Army 38 revolver to the main gun of an M1 Abrams main battle tank, my opinion is no more valid than yours ... but it does come from solid context.)
were you speaking of an evil semi auto? I have several.
The bolt was new technology at one time. Should the citizens of that time only been allowed a muzzleloader since they shouldn’t have a military firearm?

What truly makes communications platforms interesting is the difference in perspectives. Obviously NRA and firearms comments such as mine stir your ire. Your questions in response seem very serious, but come across to me as silly in lacking logical construction. Unfortunately our disparate perspectives make it difficult for good discussion.

What fabulous logical construction. Congrats.

Contentious forum posts are not for those who post opposing views expecting one side or the other might, "see the light"...

Logic v "silly" logic = prime example.

Akin to D v R Congressional Representatives. A fun chit show that makes for good entertainment breaks within yard work, boat rebuilding, to do lists, heck... I'm waiting for my gas to fill. 😆

Yep, gotta get back to my raking, mowing, burning, and beautifying. It's that all too brief summer greening ... and as the Duke exclaimed, "Daylight's burnin'!"

Hey guys, how about we stick to the topic at hand; the NRA and the claims of financial malfeasance, and leave the political memes back with the Facebook crowd? Deal?

Then I won't have to lock the thread and ban/warn the folks who seem to grind at the bit for any opportunity to express their political beliefs when they see a slight opportunity.

As a CPA, I am wondering if the NRA hired a firm of former Enron-Arthur Andersen auditors. Not sure how you can have such egregious violations of internal controls and get a clean audit opinion. If this thing implodes, I would not want to be the auditors. Expect a huge claim on their malpractice insurance for having such well-rumored and internally-known financial malfeasance come to be reality in such a public way. For the sake of their firm and the partners, maybe they just charged fees commensurate with Ackerman-McQueen and used those large fees to purchase a fully paid tail on their policy.

This is probably only the tip of the iceberg, no doubt most will ever come to the surface. I can imagine what we aren’t seeing.
I know poor saps that dont have pot to piss in yet they support the NRA, what a slap in the face to the membership.

A new rolex for each month, weekly changes in platinum cufflinks, a few pinky rings to prove you're special, a bespoke suit for everyday of the year and that $275K is blown pretty quick. C'mon guys, you can't expect Wayne to succeed if he's not decked out in the latest & greatest, am I right?

What are you people, socialists?

Still can't get over the board paying wayne his full salary AFTER he retires. That comes to 40,000 member's dues a year to pay that POS after he is retired. Unreal.
Agree paying his full salary at retirement is absolutely crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

NRA needs a big big shake up. Board at fault also. Wayne gotta go and some new leadership needs to step up
