Keep the momentum, I thought Randy might have been overblowing the position of public lands on DC's priority list but I'm a believer at this point. I just hope people actually remember this in the next election cycle.

- New definition of a “population center” is a US Census recognized municipality of at least 1,000 people.

- Changed the rule for purchasing unlimited parcels at a single auction from landowners "adjacent to" and replaced with "surrounded by." The rest of us are still stuck with 2 parcels.

- Still no restrictions on sales to foreign governments, foreign companies, foreign individuals, entities owned by foreigners, private equity groups and hedge funds, or any other restrictions to make sure these parcels end up with US citizens who need lower cost of housing.

I need to get home and read this on a computer.

Not sure if the Parliamentarian will approve this version.

Just read the new version as best i could. Just a bunch of bullshit language to camoflauge a hidden agenda to try to sell a shitty bill. Says the Secretary shall consult with the governor of the state and local government, but doesnt say they have to approve. The affordable housing language is meaningless since it is not required since some investor could purchase the land and build a resort since that could be considered an amenity. This version is trash also.
