My winter projects

This is something I do in the winter to pass my time, when I can't hunt. Handcarved from wood

Very nice. That is a hobby I always wanted to try. Do you keep, sell or gift them?

I've been out in the shop more as well,and when kids will let me. I have been turning wood for the last couple of years. Hopefully I can start to sell some of this stuff because my shelves are getting full. Not the best photos but getting better. So what other hobbies do the guys on here do while its not hunting season?

I make some far fetched excuse to build something claiming it will be cheaper than buying the actual item... I believe my "oops, sorry" excuse is getting pretty thin for my wife's tolerance. heh!

I feel your pain. This little project had a cost over-run to the tune of $190. Gotta remember,

Fair Chase, I sell most or donate to the DU. I gift some and it seems I never get the chance to keep any for myself. They are all workable decoys, so I do hunt over a few of my own every year just to add something to the spread.
