Been out the last 2 weekends trying to arrow a Lope. I have been really trying to show some restraint this year. I really want a upper 70's bow lope. It has been WAY fun. I have never had a water hole produce like this.

He has pretty cool extra bumps up top, but to small.

Nice prongs, but to skinny.

Fairly tall but no prongs.

He has no idea how lucky he is. Bow drawn, 30 yard pin settled behind his leg. Just to practice.

Same class buck.

Unfortunately he came in behind me. I heard him coming in because his front shoulder is trashed and he limps really hard, can barely use his front leg. That is why I didn’t try to open the back window. He makes so much noise when he walks he sounded like a beef cow coming in.

He bolted out to 64 yards where I took those pictures. I was hoping he would come to 50 yards or so it just didn’t happen. I am second guessing myself a little on not shooting but he was alarmed and ready.

Oak, Fin, Buzz, Greenhorn, eli and other lovers of goats. Got a score guess?

Would I be an ass if I said I was a little disapointed I am going to Alaska this week and cannot go back till after gun season starts?

Great pics Dink. I'm far from qualifying as a good scorer of antelope. But I think he meets your upper seventies standard. Give me about 5 days and hopefully I'll be posting some pics of my NM antelope.

Wow only 75?

I have one I measured at 76 and I think the limper would bufu him. I thought closer to 79 maybe even 80

I hate field judging goats.

Thanks for the pictures. Now I could handle sitting in a blind with all that action going on.Best of luck to you.

I'm not an expert at this by any means but I think Az402 is right on the money.

Length 14 4/8
1st mass 5 6/8
2nd mass 6
3rd mass 3 4/8
4th mass 2 2/8
Prongs 5 4/8

If all matched 75".

Nice buck and with a bow no brainer.

I may be a little high, but here's what I came up with:

Length 14-4
1st mass 6-4
2nd mass 6-2
3rd mass 3-6
4th mass 2-6
Prongs 5-2
Total: 78

And yes, you're an ass.

I gave him 14.5 Leanth
12 Bottom Mass
5 Prong
6 Top Mass
37.5x2=75.
