Midwest storms

Posted on snow sucks but SW Michigan got clobbered again.
Last night sucked, had to hit basement at 12:30, there to 1:15. Rough nite, all clear now. Everything lit up, weather radio, siren up road 1/2mi and phones. The path was right on us.

Watching TV in basement seeing tornado path projected right over our house was really weird. You sit there listening for than train roar while watching the track go right over your house. Fortunately nothing.

All we could think of is a family couple miles away we know that lost their 12yr old son about month ago in tornado. What they must be going thru in these events. ☹️ Seeing the same weather scenarios.

Too wet, too cold. Us Wisconsinites do what we do best when its not fun to be outside.

Full bar before noon. Wife and I are 4 drinks in already since we got here at 10.

No kidding. I need to take rocks from the snowplow. I’d rather not do that in this weather but I’m going to have to mow Monday or tuesday. WTF?
We already mowed once and it back with a vengeance. Still haven't got the gravel out of the grass either. Every weekend is either storming or blowing 60mph and cold.

The guy behind the blue eyed blonde rapper looks real thrilled.

We had 1st and 2nd grade soccer this morning!
There is a lot id love to get done outside but with everything under water around here and the fact that its 40 degrees, sitting in a bar and drinking just sounded better. We have a few trees down from the winds that need cutting.

I've mowed twice. Yesterday was a treat with the wind.
