I like how 8 co-sponsors (S) all jumped on board in 2020. They all have one thing in common.Methinks (hopes?) politicians are realizing in an election year that securing habitat and access actually pays off.
Cory Gardner is @ huge risk of losing his senate seat to a Democrat here in CO this Nov, one of 3 key seats for Dems to take control of the Senate. Trump is about politics, not public lands. The LWCF has been in play for 2 years, why is Trump only getting around to it now?
hey, if it takes the threat of losing your seat, or majority control, to motivate you to do what a lot of citizens seem to clearly want, then i'll take it
we'll see what happens
