Let’s see your Trophy Room/Man Cave

Glad to see this thread back up top! I'm actually repainting and rearranging my basement this month so hopefully I can add some updated pictures.

Keep em coming boys!

Finally got warm enough to get the last coats of varathane on my bar top this week. Officially complete at this point and was ready to serve a beer on the other night! Kinda cool that it came off our own property. My little man cave isn’t as elaborate as some of the beauties on here but it manages to keep me out of the Mrs hair just fine😉0EA04667-EFD5-472C-8933-9DED2FDED1B1.jpeg57BF34BC-8218-43F2-A9CB-F312FA7EDF04.jpegE899610A-2304-4A51-8BD6-ACF50525B943.jpeg6D228292-155F-460E-AB76-859B2AADA8F1.jpeg

I see from that motorcycle license plate on the wall you're from Missoula. Not something I would advertise. :)

Nice work. Is that cedar or a whopper juniper? Oil or latex base Varathane? I use latex base indoors any time of year, no problems. Not much smell and dries very quick.

Ammo and whisky behind the bar... I approve!

Love all the different ideas. Glad there is are others nuts out there like me. Love this stuff
I agree completely it is interesting how many twists and turns a similar theme (hunting/outdoors) can morph into given different tastes a space allotments.

@OntarioHunter no, not “from” Missoula just bought a motorcycle was I was working out there cruising timber in the 80’s... have plates from WA, CA, OR, and ID...used to move around a bit lol.

@nick87 👍🏻Good eye! Though should prob move the ammo into the safe as gold plated as that stuff is these days!

Thanks for clearing that up. Is the countertop cedar or juniper?

So right about that one... in my case I had a lot of left over odds and ends from various construction so decided to wall off the 3rd bay of my garage, built a barn door entry, milled up a big juniper on our place and built the bar inside, added racks for most of my chit, and called it home lol (sorry for the pic heavy response)

They are all roe bucks apart from the one in the middle top which is a muntjac buck.
CIC not SCI,
I think you guys have Boone and Crocket for trophy measuring?
That is very cool I have always wanted to hunt the Roe buck for some reason. Thanks for sharing

@squirrel

...digging the beam and branch ceiling, knotty walls, and parquet trifecta of the room. And that chandelier...yep.

As Chris and Joanna say...has "nice bones."

Here's my room, or lack there of. The walls will be empty when my kids move out and take theirs with them.
