@Big Fin just told us that getting anyone in Congress to care about public land is like finding a 400 inch bull in a general unit.

Let's get the word out not just among our circles, but start blowing up non-traditional media outlets. I just emailed a couple of online podcasters.

Mike Lee is a bad dude. His inhumane take on the Minnesota shootings this weekend have many people mad at him already, so we have an opportunity to pile on here and draw attention to this issue. If you are a subscriber to a non-legacy media outlet (Daily Wire, Bulwark, even Pod Save America), regardless of political bent, reach out! If you have a connection to your local news, reach out! If you can get a word in with legacy outlets, do it! Ask them all why we aren't seeing reporting on this. Our reach only goes so far, let's make the tent bigger here and let the public know that Mike Lee is trying to steal their land!

I am seeing some outrage and opposition from folks you typically don't. Chris Rufo on twitter for example, and others who beat the drum for the Rs.

I am hoping Rinella uses his Rogan influence, Hanes too. Anyone with a big reach.

I wrote my local Republican Central Committee. I know some of the guys involved in that, and though we don't agree on PLT, they have been explicit they don't want em sold.

Randy's updates are alarming as hell.

I can't believe I'm saying these words, but I wonder what Joe Rogan thinks about all this? He is a hunter and he's got an awfully big microphone...

he doesn't think about it i'm sure. but if rinella told him it was batshit crazy then rogan would probably jump on board.
Maybe we should all be writing to Rinella, too..

'Dear Steve,

Hey man, do you think you could kinda feel out Rogan on the whole public land transfer thing? Then, if you get the sense he couldn't talk about it without saying something crazy and destructive, maybe change the subject, but if he seems cool, maybe ask him to give a shout out on his podcast? Even better, have you on as a guest to talk about it? Thanks, Steve!'

Something to think about ... non-traditional platforms ... I told my wife that I sent information regarding the sale of public lands to my hunting buddies, and she got mad (with good reason) and asked why do you just sent this to guys? Good question. I then sent the same information to my friend's wives, and they have all contacted their respective U.S. Senator(s) letting them know they (women) are opposed to the selling of public lands. This doesn't just effect hunting it effects hiking, camping, fishing, etc. So, don't narrow your search for folks to help get the word out and contact their Senators.
