Israel attacks Iran’s nuclear facilities

No disagreement in your scenario either.

To be clear i note a striking difference between avoiding civilians and targetting them. And i dont fall victim to thinking israel shouldnt return fire or act in an act of preservation.

Just pointing out that us becoming occupiers to the detriment of our young men and checkbook has yielded very poor returns.

I have no disagreement with any of this. ^^^^

It’s an ugly situation that I pray we don’t get directly involved in. I do support supplying Israel with what they need for self-preservation.

I have no doubts that there are many instances where uninvolved civilians were mistakenly or carelessly targeted and killed. However, it seems ironic and privileged for Americans to criticize Israeli defense forces for doing what they deem necessary to protect themselves when Americans killed more innocent Germans in one firebombing raid over Dresden than Israel has killed total combatants and civilians in Gaza in months. That doesn’t even acknowledge the hundreds of thousands of other civilians killed in Germany and firebombing Japanese cities.

Our government and military did what they determined necessary to do in preservation of democracy and stopping the Axis powers.

Are we in position to judge a country and people whose current national existence was born in the ashes of 6 million cremated innocents and met with the vow of destruction from governments and religious militants that surrounded them?

Israel will take care of the problem with or without our help. It might be a bigger issue if they do it without us. Iran can not have a nuke warhead.

Japan should call Iran and warn them that the US isn't interested in playing stupid games. They know a thing or two because they've seen a thing or two.
How many Americans got killed by the Japanese again?

Google says 111,606 plus 253,000 wounded. Have you read the book Unbroken describing Louis Zamparini's time in a Japanese POW camp?
I am not super familiar with the book, as I haven’t read it. But I did hear in a podcast recently something like 34% of American POWs died during their imprisonment, which is actually a low considering the conditions they were forced to endure.

A Navy Admiral was interviewed on Fox this morning about 6 B-2’s heading towards “Guam”. And in the discussion the news team relates that they must have taken off with minimal fuel as indicated by the near immediate arial refueling, hinting that they are toting a very heavy payload.

Air miles from Wightman AFB to Tehran is 6800ish miles. Guam to Tehran is 5800 miles. No matter how I ask it,Siri/Google will not calculate how far Diego Garcia to Tehran miles might be.

During both Gulf Wars B2’s regularly struck targets while based in Missouri (and the air crews attended t-ball games the same day of their mission). I wonder why we would move these planes (and let their movements be broadcast to the world???
