I would be looking for a new one. Got home from a hike tonight and found Gunner had gotten into the garage and made a snack of my MR CC. Notice the guilty look on his face.

I blame evolution. If dogs had evolved opposable thumbs then he could have just opened the zipper to get the snickers inside and would not have had to chew through it. See, not my fault :o

You should be proud. Some age and experience in that brace. I bet it is a sight to see them hunt.
 
Mule that is a great looking pup. The real question here is why did you go on a hike without your buddy. If he had been out getting exercise with you he wouldn't have been in trouble and you both would have been happy.
