Just called a friend in Alaska who drew a tag.

I asked, "How ya doin'?"

"Oh, pretty good." he replies.

I tell him he obviously has not checked the expo results if he is only "pretty good."

"Whatcha mean, they don't draw until tomorrow."

He is thinking I am jerking his chain. He turns on his computer and Googles the link.

I tell him to look toward the bottom. After a silent period he slowly and profoundly says. Hooooollllllyyyyy Sssssshhhhhhhiiiiiiiii........"

He is hooting and hollering to where I had to put the phone down. We laughed hard and long.

I quickly got off the phone so he could jump up and down and go outside and yell, and all the other things you would do if you won the Rocky Mountain Bighorn tag.

Congrats, Jim. You will make the most of it, if anyone will. Good luck on the Musk Ox tag.

Wow the two tags I would really want went to guys close to me. I know the one that drew the san Juan archery elk. The other Henry tag premium rifle is a guy that was in my city. That was my tag if I would have gone.

The guy on the right side of this photo drew an elk tag. An RMBS board member won a scope in the door prize raffle.
