Out damn standing! Both my kids joined the Army. One went to Iraq with the 82nd Airborne and the other was a combat medic with the 10th Mountain.

I am always glad to see kids step up and do the right thing. You should be proud.

It was a blast going to the medic graduation in San Antonio.

It's a life moment for all involved. My oldest son enlisted in the USAF and completed basic in October. He is a changed man in a very, very good way. Couldn't be more proud.

Congrats to her. I did my basic in Fort Lost in the woods way back in 1986. Went back last year for a get together with my Desert Storm buddies and was amazed by how much the post has changed.
