Hard on the Body, Easy on the Mind

@Gerald Martin , the thread title is accurate! That was probably the hardest 6 straight days of hunting I've done, this old body needed some recovery afterwards. Great times, great friends and great memories - let's do it again!
I'm healed up, and can feel my toes again - so off to Wy. I go looking for elk now.

My kind of hunting story, lots of pics and just enough words. Thanks for taking us along!

The Grizzly density is no joke in that area….even the Elk don’t want to talk for fear of their life 😳.

Beautiful country in that area! I hunted just west of there last year. Opposite side of the valley. Seeing that landscape never gets old.

Great photos. That area is in my top 5 places if we ever get a chance to hunt grizzlies. Glad you were able to spend time in there with friends.

Looked at this one again today and got to feeling all nostalgic, lots of good memories up there. I spent many days learning to hunt elk in that country, and haven’t been back in a long time. Last time I hunted there I had one of my more memorable pack outs on a dink bull and had a blast. Might be time to backpack in to the old camp for a good old fashioned memory lane suffer fest…
