Without the whole story, it's kinda difficult to pass judgement here. The guide may have simply heard there were bears living in that general area, or he may have had his clients hunting near a carcass that he knew a Grizzly was feeding on (he'd have to be retarded, but you get the point).
Whatever the case may be, it's another good example of how many Grizzly are roaming around in the west these days, and of the need to delist them and start selling some tags!

Yeh, but you wouldn't want to go with an outfitter showing bad judgement and hunting where there is obvious griz "activity".
