Grizz in AK

[Big Fin]

I shot this bear on Sunday 10/01/2006. Was hunting with my grandfather, two uncles, and a cousin, all of whom are AK residents. Saw five bears before this, but had to pass, as they were in locations that my grandfather could not get to. It was worth the wait.

He is not the biggest bear around, and was probably one of the dumbest, but he was the culmination of a week of time spent with my great relatives, doing things that aren't available in the lower 48. His beautiful dark fur will make a great rug to bring back some wonderful memories for many years to come.

I am the guy with the really big smile. The other guys are uncles and cousins.

Now it is onto WY, NV, and then finish things up here in MT.
