If it's for biology or scientific studies it's acceptable. If it's for eating or just to have a pickled fawn in a jar it's really freaking weird.

I'm guessing they'll try to sell them, I've seen a booth selling all sorts of "wet specimens" at the barter faire in Okanogan county. It's like a big hippy festival flea market, was a little surprised to see that booth there, but hippies are full of surprises! Not sure how legal it is either, biological samples usually involve some sort of collection permit.
