Looks like a mule deer elk hybrid with moose a few generations back.

Almost as good as the CGI deer they have on TV shows these days. Folks just out in the rural midwest and bam - a reindeer/axis deer/elk/mule deer hybrid prances across the meadow.

Deer crossing road signs always get me. The ones depicting whitetail, usually do a good job, the mule deer signs, not even close. Then there are the whitetail signs where just mule deer reside.
