You know how it goes....first hour,of the first day,of a three day hunt.I did not want to go home early.My plan was to hunt the first morning with my 25.06,mostly "recon", and then spend the rest of the time hunting with blackpowder.I almost let this deer pass thinking I could catch up with him later on,but any whitetail hunter knows sometimes you see a buck just once.I taped him at 151 5/8 gross,and that earns him a place in my den.
